Seeing is good, hearing is better, feeling is the all-encompassing experience of something. You can watch a movie, on your computer in your living room with no sound and that is ok, you can add the sound and that’s good, or you can go to a state of the art HD Theater to see, hear and feel your seat shake. You are in the moment. As our brains have evolved our senses have evolved also.

Yet in business we say, “Don’t be emotional.” “Do not feel.” Scientifically we cannot, not feel, our natural state as humans is to feel.

Do you want to take your company to the next level? Do you want to do this in the fastest and cheapest way possible? Feel into it.

Most every company now a day has a vision statement. You can generally find it buried under a stack of papers on the receptionist desk or dusty on a plaque in the lobby.

As the consciousness of the world shifts it shifts in business this requires us to re-visit that vision. To breathe life into business again. The vision of the companies we build or we work for should breathe life into us to go to work each day. Vision creates one-dimensional feeling of passion, visualization creates the multidimensional feeling, sight, sound, smell, taste of success.

What does it feel like to feel that you have completed that vision? Most visions are status quo and elicit no feeling whatsoever. Visualization takes you one step beyond.

It is done unto us, as we believe. Bring your team together and visualize what your company would look like, feel like and sound like when you attain your vision.

Leaders, Managers, employees and customers today are no longer one dimensional they crave experiences. This is why Starbucks brews fresh coffee every hour to keep the sent of beans in each store.

Pull out your vision statement how does reading it make you feel? Are you inspired? Can your body feel the excitement of completing the mission?

If your answer is no – it’s time to re-imagine your visions statement and visualize with your team, staff and customers.

What was once ok, a multi-sentence long vision will no longer inspire. What 6 words are the essence of the problem you solve, who you solve it for and the outcomes they attain.
